1965 Tudor Prince Oysterdate Ref. 7964

Rolex introduced Tudor to the market in 1945 with the intention of producing high quality watches at an affordable price. The Tudor Oyster Prince was released in 1952 and shared with Rolex the famous waterproof Oyster case and the self-winding Perpetual ‘rotor’ mechanism.

The present vintage watch is in superb condition with a beautifully preserved case. The original champagne soleil dial is highly attractive with raised, gold dagger hour markers and date is readable at a quick glance throught a cyclop. To complete the look, the watch is fitted with the Oyster bracelet – ref. 6635 – to match the case design, which was made by Rolex.

Thanks to its timeless design and excellent wearability, crisp examples of the reference 7964 Prince Oysterdate are a great value proposition to the connoisseur of Tudor vintage wristwatches. Discover our selection of Tudor Wristwatches and Vintage Dress Watches for sale.
