Girard-Perregaux used to mark every new Olympic Games with the launch of a new chronograph, this chronograph was built to commemorate the 1976 Olympic Games.
Not only is the case of the present watch preserved in overall excellent condition, but the bezel, the hands and the hour indexes also match in tone. The caseback has several scratches, none of them very deep. The dial is also well preserved with its 3 registers.
Its technical prowess and masculine appeal make it a robust timepiece that has an intriguing historical background. The present wristwatch is not only in great condition but its exuberance and rarity make it a must have for the vintage watch collectors.
